The heartbreaking news was shared by Gogo Skhotheni in an official statement to ZiMoja confirming the passing of Monde Jr.
She has previously discussed her son’s health challenges, particularly on his second birthday, where she expressed her sorrow.
She shared a heartbroken message on his second birthday. “Monde Jr, you’ve been at that hospital bed ever since. You know all the nurses, doctors, and cleaners; we are now planning your second birthday. Are you still there?”
Gogo Skhotheni revealed that during her pregnancy, she experienced complications that led to Monde Jr being born prematurely at seven months.
Following his birth, he struggled to breathe, prompting doctors to rush him to the ICU after two hours.
Gogo Skhotheni and Monde’s road has been challenging, as their family has encountered hardships.
Monde Jr has been in the ICU for nearly two years.
Their relationship has also been tumultuous, with allegations of abuse.
