After weeks and weeks of speculation, Kaizer Chiefs have finally confirmed the worst kept secret in South African football — Tunisian Nasreddine Nabi is their new head coach.
The Soweto club released a video of Nabi talking to the squad at training with the brief statement: “We are delighted to welcome Coach Nasreddine Nabi to the Kaizer Chiefs family. We are happy to have you with us, Coach.”
Nabi left Moroccan club AS FAR this week after losing in the final of the Throne Cup to Josep Zinnbauer’s Raja Casablanca on Monday.
