Justin Shonga, a former Zambian football player who represented clubs such as Orlando Pirates, Tshakhuma, Cape Town City, and Sekhukhune United, has passed away at the age of 27.
He died at Sikanze Police Hospital in Zambia after a short illness, as confirmed by Zambia Police Deputy Spokesperson Dan Mwale. Shonga also played for the Zambian national team, scoring 16 goals in 33 appearances.
The football community and fans have expressed their condolences and sadness over his untimely death.
