MK Member Mxolisi Zungu Shot Dead in Durban

A man has been shot dead in the Cato Manor area, while walking with his wife.

According to a police report, a suspect shot the victim, Mxolisi Zungu, from behind.

He had just dropped off his child at crèche.

His gun was taken and he died at the scene.

Zungu was a member of the MK Party but, according to the SAPS, it is not regarded as a political killing yet.

Mxolisi Zungu elections manager for MK party in Mayville ward 101 has been shot dead while he was walking with his wife. The cause of his murder is not yet clear.
