Former Generations And Isidingo Actor Has Passed Away

The Entertainment Industry is yet mourning the death of the talented actor. It was reported on X by Actor Spaces that actor Adrian Alper has sadly passed away. Nothing much with regards to the cause of his death, or exact day, has been shared as yet.

Andrian was a South African actor, director, writer, comedian , voice artist, Presenter and MC . Alper was well known for his role a Calvin on SABC 3 comedy called Streaks that he played in 1995. Adrian studied at the United World College of the Atlantic from 1989-1991 then traveled extensively through Europe, the Far East, Russia and the United States.

Been the Entertainment industry for the longest time Alper was also on the popular SABC1 soapie Generations in between 1993 and 1994 were he was playing the role of Lesley before the show was changed to Generations Legacy. In 1999 he played the role of Sharky in the well known SABC3 soapie Isidingo-Tha Need that no longer airing, he left the show and came back again in 2001.

The talented Alper was also on the TV series Young Vision in 1991, the etv sitcom Scoop Schoombie and Plek van die Vleisvreters in 2004. In 2001 he appeared on the SABC3 game show called The Big Idea. He performed in a number of stage productions in Wales before returning to South Africa.

He also appeared in the 1992 feature film The Spirit of Cain, produced by Red Room Films.In recent years Adrian has focused more on directing for television. His directing credits include Isidingo, Backstage, Madam & Eve, Shado’s and Scandal.
