Former Orlando Pirates attacking midfielder Thembinkosi Lorch who joined Mamelodi Sundowns on January transfer window deadline day is spending some quality time with his mother during the international break with no football activities in the DStv Premiership.

The former Orlando Pirates jersey number 3 who now don the jersey number 45 at Mamelodi Sundowns recently took his mother out for a special meal.

As expected, “Shake My Soul” as Lorch is affectionately known as in the football circle has taken to his official social media account where he documented this special moment.

What’s the story?

On Saturday, former Orlando Pirates attacking midfielder Thembinkosi Lorch who is one of the four new recruits at Mamelodi Sundowns took to his Instagram stories where he shared a photo where he had taken his mother, Thandiwe Lorch, out for lunch in a fancy eatery.

As part of his caption, the 2018/19 PSL Footballer of the Season award winner shared a love heart emoji.

Former Orlando Pirates attacking midfielder Thembinkosi Lorch who is one of the most talented footballers of his generation has made the most appearances in the DStv Premiership under Milutin Sredojevic during his playing career which has spanned for almost a decade and he has scored the most goals under the same mentor.

According to his player profile on German website 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘬𝘵, the 31 year old Bloemfontein born footballer has made 47 appearances in the DStv Premiership under coach Milutin Sredojevic ever since he began his professional football career.

In addition, the former Orlando Pirates attacking midfielder has also rattled the back of net 13 times in the DStv Premiership under the 54 year old Prokuplje born tactician.
