The South African Weather broadcasting Service has issued a warning of an anticipated Tropical Cyclone named Filipo that will affect the Limpopo Province.
According to reports, it is presumed storm will affect areas such as Greater Giyani and Ba-Phalaborwa Municipalities, Bushbuckridge and Nkomazi, and the Lowveld region in South Africa will likely experience substantial rainfall. People who reside in these areas are urged to take precautionary measures.
Reports suggest that on Tuesday, 12 March 2024, Cyclone Filipo caused a massive havoc in southern Mozambique and destroyed a lot of properties as well as creating floods on the road. The pictures that are posted above depict the aftermath and the hazard caused by Cyclone Filipo in Mozambique.

The South African Weather broadcasting Service said it will continue monitoring developments and issue updates where necessary, and the Disaster Management Unit along with the Mopani District Disaster Centre is on high alert.
