AKA’s Former Bodyguard Anwar “Dogg” Khan Charges R56k Daily, Mzansi Weighs in: “AKA Wasted His Money

In a shocking revelation, Anwar “Dogg” Khan, the former bodyguard of the late South African rapper AKA, has disclosed that he charges a staggering R56,000 per day for his security services. Dogg, who is associated with The Pentagon Group, shed light on his fees during an interview with The Load Shed Podcast, providing insights into the intricacies of safeguarding high-profile individuals.

Dogg explained that his team charges a minimum of $3000 per day, with himself serving as the lead agent overseeing the security operations. The renowned bodyguard has an extensive portfolio, having worked with international celebrities such as Dwayne Wade and Boys II Men, as well as South African artist Kiernan Forbes, better known as AKA.

“It’s $3000 per day, per guy, and that’s a minimum when you’ve got me on a good day,” Dogg shared during the podcast. “I’m a lead agent; I run everything while my guys will drive and secure areas; then I deal with the main artist myself.”

However, Mzansi, the colloquial term for South Africa, wasn’t convinced by Dogg’s explanation. Social media erupted with skepticism as netizens questioned the effectiveness of Dogg’s security measures, particularly in light of AKA’s tragic death.

Twitter user ThisIsColbert shared a video of Dogg’s interview, sparking a wave of comments from the online community. Many expressed disappointment and disbelief, arguing that Dogg and his team failed to protect AKA on the day he was killed.

Previously, Dogg had revealed that he was absent on the day of AKA’s murder and acknowledged that there had been a breach in security protocols. This admission only fueled the online criticism, with some users suggesting that AKA had wasted his money on security that ultimately failed to prevent the tragic incident.

As discussions surrounding AKA’s untimely demise continue, Dogg’s revelations about his hefty daily charges and the perceived failure of security measures have added a new layer to the ongoing conversation within the South African entertainment and security industries.
