Everything you need to know about Mpho Xaba, Zahara’s fiancé

Mpho Xaba is the fiancé of late South African singer Bulelwa Mkutukana, popularly known as Zahara, who passed away on Monday 11 December. Zahara announced that she was engaged to Mpho Xaba in March. The pair were reportedly together for six months prior to the engagement. Xaba reportedly met the late singer through a mutual friend. He is believed to be an engineer. Xaba hails from Mpumalanga.

He is the third man engaged to Zahara. According to Tshisa Live, the singer was engaged to Umhlobo Wenene FM radio presenter Amaza Nstshnga in 2017. The pair were together for almost five years. In 2019, Zahara was reportedly engaged to Ian Sibiya. However, their relationship did not last long.

South African singer Zahara passed away on Monday 11 December at a private hospital according to EWN reported that . The cause of the singer’s death has not yet been revealed. Minister of Arts and Culture Zizi Kodwa confirmed that the Phendula hitmaker had passed away via a tweet on Monday 11 December.

“I am very saddened by the passing of @ZaharaSA. My deepest condolences to the Mkutukana family and the South African music industry. Government has been with the family for some time now. Zahara and her guitar made an incredible and lasting impact in South African music,” read the tweet.
