Actress Kwezi Ndlovu who portrays the role of Mamzobe’s daughter, Nobuntu has reportedly been replaced with Kwanele Mthethwa in Umkhokha: The Curse.
KWEZI NDLOVU: ‘MATERNITY LEAVE?’
Entertainment commentator, Jabu Mcdonald has announced that fan-favourite Umkhokha actress Kwezi Ndlovu has been replaced with Kwanele Mthethwa.
“Kwanele Mthethwa has joined #UmkhokhaTheCurse and will be taking over Kwezi Ndlovu’s character as the new Nobuntu,” tweeted Mcdonald.
Viewers of the Mzansi Magic faith-based telenovela predict Mthethwa is taking over Ndlovu’s character as she’s gone on maternity leave.
Fakaza reports that Nlovu announced she’s pregnant with her first child by revealing her baby bump photos on social media.
“While on holiday in Mauritius, the actress showed off her baby bump and revealed that the baby will arrive in 2024,” reported the publication.
The South African reached out to Rhythm World’s Production producer Nolo Phiri for a comment, who was not available for a comment.
