A lady by the name of Thembisile recently caused a stir on social media. Thembisile posted a picture showing off her new tattoo. For those who are unaware, Thembisile is HIV positive and has been taking medicine for the past few years. People were left in disbelief after seeing that the tattoo was a red ribbon which symbolises being HIV positive.

There were mixed reactions on the comments. Some mentioned how beautiful the tattoo is. Others were saying Thembisile shouldn’t expose her HIV status on social media. There were individuals who mentioned how inspiring it is to see someone who is not afraid to talk about her situation.

There is a lot that people have had to say. Someone left a comment saying, “I am proud of you.” See more reactions down below.

#BeyondSilence there is power, there is justice, there is healing, there is victory. I stand here today celebrating myself for surviving rape and abuse and terror.

I took my power back and so can you!

Never let anyone silence you!
To 19 years of living with HIV🥂🎊… pic.twitter.com/fRcKrqZxi0
