It has been reported that the government of the Republic of South Africa gets R10 billion loan from Germany to move away from coal. This is additional loan to other loans which the administration of President Cyril Matamela Ramaphosa.
Many people are reacting on the terms which Germany administration has given South Africa.
” Germany, which is in desperate need of coal, gives you a loan for you not to use the coal and give it to them, and pay them at the same time for it!. How pathetic a country have we become under Ramaphosa”, says Dr Mbuyiseni Ndlozi
” This is absolute foolishness! Move from coal to where and why borrow additional money when the you’re already repaying more than R350 billion annually on interests of the more than R4,7 Trillion.
