Oscar Mabuyane, ANC leader in Eastern Cape and suspected thief, is on edge after Ace Magashule exposed his larceny of R450 000 from Winnie Madikezela Mandela’s burial.

Mabuyane has lodged paperwork with the High Court in Bisho in response to the Hawks’ investigation into his corruption case in the Eastern Cape.

Many individuals are perplexed by this, as it appears Oscar Mabuyane is attempting to evade justice by making it impossible for law enforcement agencies to investigate him.

Since 2019, it has been alleged, supported by Ace Magashule’s testimony, that he misappropriated public funds for his own benefit.

Mabuyane’s attorney, Ngqiqo Sakhela, said in a statement that his client is petitioning the court for an injunction to stop an investigation into certain allegations made against him.

According to reports, this application went live before Mkwebane submitted his report to the Public Protector.

Our client asserts that during his interview with the Hawks, they agreed to provide him with information about the allegations made against him. According to him, this is why he is filing a lawsuit.

Nonetheless, in an interview with SABC, Ace Magashule disclosed that Bam had written an open letter to the party’s top six, alerting them that R1.1 million intended for Mandela’s grieving family had been transferred to Oscar Mabuyane’s bank account.

While the whistleblower claims to have provided confirmation of payment in the form of FNB deposit slips to Mabuyane, the matter was not dealt with expeditiously.

Currently, he asserts that Ace Magashule framed him and assisted the Hawks in their investigation.

Mabuyane now claims that he is the victim of a political witch chase due to the timing of the corruption investigations.

As Magashule spills the beans on R450 000 fraud allegations, ANC Big Shots go into a panic.
