Former Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng is still confident that he would be elected president of South Africa someday and hopefully it’s going to come into fruition.Successfully, overcoming politicians without resorting to voting. The former chief justice initially mentioned his desire to run for president last year. He added that he believes it is a divine calling.

Last year, he said, “It’s a calling in my life, the precise manifestation of which I cannot predict. In reaction, I pray, which is why I have been clear about my intention to wait for divine guidance.A year later, in an interview with ENCA news broadcast over the weekend, he reiterated his belief, saying that he will ultimately fulfil this duty.

‘God doesn’t want it to happen through elections,’ he remarked. He is adamant that I not join or form any political organisation. It will be nothing short of a miracle.Mogoeng continued, “Just like when I became a judge on the Constitutional Court in 2009, amid criticism.” He’d make a lot of people have to eat humble pie again.

He suggested to a news reporter that members of parliament might choose him without any sort of lobbying on his part.He remarked, “I know it sounds insane and illogical, but I have seen how boundless the power of this God is. I guarantee your surprise. At the appropriate moment, I will assume the presidency of our great nation. I have no idea; it may be as soon as next month.

People have responded to the news on social media, with some suggesting the former chief justice may be suffering from dementia. Some people have put their faith in Mogoeng, saying he has a chance to save the country from the ANC’s almost 30-year rule.
