The Ga-Rankuwa Mail took to social media to convey the heartbreaking announcement of her demise. Born on the 13th of May in 1996, Oratile Malefyane More’s journey was one of resilience and strength as she battled with lupus.

Lupus, a chronic autoimmune disease, poses numerous challenges for those who suffer from it. Oratile, however, faced these challenges head-on, earning her the title of a Lupus Warrior. Her story of determination and courage inspired many within the community and beyond.

Tragically, her battle with the illness came to an end on the 9th of August 2023, which happened to be Women’s Day. Her untimely passing has left a void in the hearts of those who knew her and had witnessed her unwavering spirit. The timing of her passing on a day that celebrates women’s strength and accomplishments serves as a poignant reminder of the battles individuals like Oratile face each day.

The Ga-Rankuwa Mail’s announcement not only shared the sad news of her passing but also provided a contact number for inquiries related to her funeral arrangements. This gesture shows the community’s willingness to support Oratile’s family during this difficult time.

Oratile Malefyane More’s journey as a Lupus Warrior may have concluded, but her legacy of courage, determination, and the inspiration she instilled in others will continue to live on. Her story serves as a reminder that even in the face of adversity, individuals can leave a lasting impact that transcends their time on Earth.

As Ga-Rankuwa mourns the loss of a remarkable individual, the community also stands united in celebrating her life and the mark she left behind. Oratile’s story reminds us of the strength within us all and the importance of supporting one another through life’s challenges.
