A few months ago, Mzwanele Manyi, the spokesperson of the Jacob Zuma Foundation, decided to join the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), leaving behind the African Transformation Movement. Ever since his switch, Manyi, a close ally of Jacob Zuma, has been actively involved in the politics of the EFF and has even been assigned duties in the parliament.

Today, on July 29, 2023, Mzwanele Manyi enthusiastically joined thousands of other members of the Economic Freedom Fighters in celebrating the party’s ten-year anniversary. The event was filled with joy and pride as they marked a decade of advocating for their vision of economic freedom.

During the celebration, Mzwanele Manyi, a prominent figure in the party, made a passionate statement declaring, “Even witchcraft will not stop the Economic Freedom Fighters.” His words reflected the unwavering determination and resilience of the EFF in the face of challenges and opposition.

Manyi’s prominent role within the EFF highlights the growing influence of the party and the increasing support it has garnered over the years. As a close ally of former President Jacob Zuma, his involvement further solidifies the link between the party and Zuma’s legacy.

The anniversary celebration served as a testament to the EFF’s commitment to their cause and the progress they have made in the past decade. With Manyi’s active participation, the party’s trajectory seems to be heading towards continued growth and relevance in South African politics. As they look back on their achievements, the Economic Freedom Fighters are undoubtedly setting their sights on shaping the nation’s future and championing the rights of the people they represent.
