The Economic Freedom Fighters leadership share a stage with Prof Lumumba. The party says it cannot be held responsible for his views on the LGBTQ+ community. Or his support of Ugandas anti-gay laws. The party says the Prof is a renowned Pan Africanist and that’s why he was invited.

” We don’t have time for your hypocritical and selective outrage. Ramaphosa dines with Museveni, who signed and passed the anti-LGBTQI+ laws in Uganda, and all of you remain silent.Today you want to lecture us about human rights. Witches!”, says Economic Freedom Fighters Student Commander president Sihle Lonzi.

Sarah Baartman Hall was packed to capacity during a Prof Lumumba’s lecture organised as part of the Economic Freedom Fighters 10th Anniversary lecture.

The SASCO members in Cape Town was outside the hall demonstrating to show that Prof Lumumba is not welcomed but that didn’t affect the event. Even many of the African National Congress criticized the Economic Freedom Fighters lf inviting Prof Lumumba.

We don’t have time for your hypocritical and selective outrage.
