If there is one thing that is certain about Royal AM owner and multimillionaire Shaun Mkhize, is that she knows how to challenge the authority.

Earlier on this month, most South Africans were left confused after the news broke out that FIFA had sanctioned Royal AM following failure to honour the judgement to pay Samir Nurkovic his R12 million In wages; but what confused South Africans even more was how the owner was unmoved by the decision – and now we know the reason behind her composure.

According to a statement released by Royal AM, the club has rendered FIFA’s decision null and void; after finding a loophole that will enable them to sign players for a short period that the organisation will be taking to conduct further investigations.

PSL fans have had mixed reactions to Royal AM’s decision to lodge an appeal to the court of arbitration. While some fans have commanded Mamkhize for always standing up for herself and not being a push over, most fans did not hold back in expressing their reservations.

“This will not end well for her, we have seen this movie before. If real Madrid could not reverse this decision, what makes her think that Royal AM stands a chance?” Said a fan.

According to most football fans, should the decision go against Royal AM…most teams will get hauled up into it; as Royal AM is busy offloading players. The team might get demoted to the lower league and its transfers null.

What is your view of Mamkhize’s time in the PSL…has she given it a va-va-voom and made it interesting, or is she dragging the league’s reputation down?
