King Misuzulu KaZwelithini who is allegedly not residing at the royal palace, but in a mansion north of Durban, received a new vehicle from the Kwa-Zulu Natal provincial government.
This has send many furiously typing who questioned why the Kwa-Zulu Natal provincial government which is struggling to feed kids in schools, has got money to buy a new vehicle for the Zulu King Misuzulu KaZwelithini.
It is not like the king has no cars. He has them in abundance, but the Kwa-Zulu Natal provincial government just chose to prioritise this expenditure, while some learners in numerous schools are not receiving food.
The handover of the sleek wheels took place on Friday at royal palace after the King met with Premier Nomusa Dube-Ncube an the Kwa-Zulu Natal provincial delegation.
Critics said the King Misuzulu KaZwelithini should have turned down this offer, and suggested that the money be used to cater for the poor in need of food in several areas. A social critic said such greed should never be celebrated by anyone. It also shows that the Kwa-Zulu Natal provincial government is misplacing it’s priorities.
When people vote leaders into power, it is because they have faith in them doing what the community needs. Unfortunately, most politicians end up disappointing even those who have elected them in power.
“The poor will celebrate such greed. When will people be liberated from such mentality and see things for what they are. We vote, they eat the money,” said a social critic who was send furiously typing on social media.
King Misuzulu met with Kwa-Zulu Natal Premier Nomusa Dube-Ncube at the Royal palace in Nongoma on Friday. The premier’s delegation included newly-appointed advisor to the King, Philani Mavundla.
This also comes at a time traditional prime minister, Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi had revealed that external forces are trying to poison King Misuzulu KaZwelithini, and called on South Africans to pray for him.
