Belinda Echeozonjoku, the new leader of the DA in caucus, declared that she had a fantastic vision for the DA in Johannesburg.
On Monday, Johannesburg witnessed the uncontested election of Echeozonjoku as the DA caucus leader. Former mayor Mpho Phalatse was succeeded as caucus leader by Echeozonjoku.
Publishing credits go to Echeozojoku. She has been a member of the DA for some time, and now she must take charge of a caucus that sits in the opposition and has had conflicts with its previous coalition partners.
“To be effective in our mission, we need a strong foundation. I pledge to revive the research capacity in our political office, enabling our caucus to make informed decisions and provide well-researched proposals,” Echozonjoku said.
A Twitter user, @Shokwakhe16, took to his page to expose Echozonjoku for marrying a Nigerian man. He tweeted, “DA has replaced Mpho Phalatse with a Jollofina, chances are we may have a Jollofina as mayor should the DA get another shot at mentorship.”
