The South African actress and businesswoman Hlamlani Mavasa is fighting for her life in hospital. Hlamlani is professionally known to many of his fans as Matimba on SABC 2 telenovela Giyani the Land of Blood. The family of the actress is pleading with South Africans to include their daughter in their prayers, so she could recover soon. Hlamlani is hospitalized in Clinix Hospital in Soweto.

According to a statement issued by a family member, the actress suffered a stroke on Monday night while she was alone in her Soweto house. The family believe Hlamlani was suffering from a lot of stress and depression caused by her ex-partner. Unfortunately, she had no one to talk to, and family didn’t notice until it was too late. Hlamlani had a lot to deal with, as in 2020 she lost a baby and in the same period lost her mother.

As if that was not enough, in 2022 she lost another baby, who suffered from brain damage and lung disease. In the same month she got involved in a car accident in Roodepoort, on the West side of Gauteng. According to her sister Tintswalo Mavas, Hlamlani currently is not responding to medical treatment. The doctors have already performed an operation on her heart. The family Believes with prayers from the nation, Hlamlani will recover.
