It is becoming a reality that the people of South Africa will have to accept one day. The reason for this is that what they want always takes time and even years to happen. This is because the ruling party always make a promise to deliver while not doing anything to keep the people happy. With lights and blackouts becoming a new trend every day. It has come to some people’s attention that the ANC is not ready to serve the nation.


This is because they are providing less than what they could do and this is because what they are providing to the people makes them think no party can do it. The reason for this issue is that the people think no other party can bring change since some of the opposition parties are hungry for power and making money for themselves.


In the last three days, the people of South Africa were left stunned by Ramaphosa’s cabinet minister for wasting R160 million on a Grammy Award Event. The event is believed to have happened in New York City where the minister of sports, arts and culture zizi kodwa and the deputy minister Nocawe Mafu glazed the streets of America with lavish lifestyles.

When Zizi Kodwa was asked whether the R160 million expenditure was necessary for the event. Kodwa’s response was disappointing since he just declared that the attendance of the venue was for 360 people which deserved the amount spent on food, venue, sounds and entertainment.



 

It is becoming clear that the ANC cabinet ministers don’t take accountability seriously and this is because of what has happened. This is because for such an amount to be spent like this true judge’s kodwa response as he lacks financial responsibility and attention towards the people’s feelings.
