Mamello Leremi formerly known as Mamello Ralematha, widow of former Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns attacking midfielder Gift Leremi is accustomed to the life of luxury that would make anyone envious even almost sixteen years after her partner’s tragic demise.

“Vum Vum” as he was affectionately known as during his playing days and his widow Mamello Leremi were together through thick and thin until death did them apart on that fateful night on 3 September 2007.

This week, Mamello Leremi recently took to her official social media account where she showed off a stylish and personalized clothing item which had their famous surname.

What’s the story?

On Tuesday, Gift Leremi’s widow Mamello Leremi took to her Instagram account where she shared a video where she was captured at a luxurious setting and where she was captured wearing a snazzy robe which had the writing reading, Leremi, on the back.

As part of her caption, Mamello Leremi wrote, “I used to protect my name in situations, now I don’t care what you think about me akere la buwa (because you talk too much) anyway”.

Did you know?

According to Gift Leremi’s player profile on German website 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘬𝘵, the product of the Orlando Pirates Youth Academy who had enjoyed a meteoric rise to prominence during the time of his tragic passing had established himself as a regular feature at club level but not in the national team setup of South Africa.

According to the same source mentioned above, the former Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns attacking midfielder tragedy succumbed to his death having earned only 4 international caps in the colours of Bafana Bafana.
