Former ANC Women’s League president, Bathabile Dlamini has reacted to several resignations handed over by ANC comrades who were serving as members of parliament.
Dlamini thanked the ANC members of parliament for their services during the time they served. The ANC heavyweight said these comrades have done well.
“Thank you for the work you have done all these years for the movement,” said Bathabile Dlamini. One of the ANC members who has resigned is her close ally, Lindiwe Sisulu.
Bathabile Dlamini is one of the ANC comrades who are still aiming for higher office, and she is not willing to bow down like what her fellow comrades did.
Those who resigned include former minister of Sports, Arts and Culture Nathi Mthethwa, former minister of Women, Children and People with Disabilities Maite Nkoana-Mashabane, and former Tourism minister Lindiwe Sisulu.
These are said to have turned down the offer to be redeployed to chair different steering committees after failing to return to cabinet.
