Watch: Ngizwe Mchunu Campaign For ANC In KZN Ahead Of By-elections

Former Ukhozi FM radio presenter, Ngizwe Mchunu was seen campaigning for the African National Congress in Newcastle, Kwa-Zulu Natal province ahead of the ward 31 by-election.

Mchunu is one of the popular individuals in Kwa-Zulu Natal due to his close association with former president Jacob Zuma. He is one of the individuals who have been vocal in defending the ANC veteran.

ANC lost this municipality to the Inkatha Freedom Party in the local government elections. They are now seeking to wrestle it away from IFP. Team Sugar South Africa is however going to be contesting after Inkatha Freedom Party decided to take a step back and give them an opportunity.

Team Sugar South Africa is a minority party which is in a coalition government with Inkatha Freedom Party in Newcastle. It seems ANC after suffering a defeat before, have decided to rope in people like Ngizwe Mchunu to use his influence and woo voters.

Critics argue that Ngizwe Mchunu is confusing them. Recently, he was seen with former ANC veteran, Carl Niehaus where they had engagements concerning the RET movement. After that meeting, he was seen campaigning for ANC.

Many stated that it seems money is controlling Mchunu, and he goes wherever he is promised something. He is the same person who fought Sihle Zikalala so much during his time as ANC provincial chairperson.
