Four armed robbers stormed the offices of a bakery in Limpopo’s Vhembe District and held employees at gunpoint before making off with cash and other valuables, according to an incident captured on security cameras.

Crime activist Yusuf Abramjee shared footage on social media showing the suspects entering the bakery’s offices during business hours and confronting an employee, demanding access to a safe. The CCTV footage shows the armed men searching for cash.

The value of the stolen cash and property has not been disclosed, and it remains unclear whether the suspects used a getaway vehicle. Police have not yet released details regarding arrests or the progress of the investigation.

The robbery is the latest in a series of business targeted crimes reported across parts of Limpopo, where criminals have increasingly targeted commercial premises for cash and valuables. Authorities are expected to use the security footage as part of efforts to identify and trace the suspects.
