South Africans are once again speculating about a possible reunion between music executive TK Nciza and singer Nhlanhla Mafu after the former couple appeared together at a special dinner celebrating their son Ciza.
The event, held on 21 May 2026, honoured Ciza’s recent success following his achievements at the Metro FM Music Awards. Photos shared online quickly went viral as fans noticed how comfortable TK Nciza and Nhlanhla appeared while posing together alongside their son.
Ciza, who has enjoyed a meteoric rise in the music industry, reflected on the evening in a heartfelt post. The Isaka (6 AM) hitmaker described the celebration as a meaningful moment surrounded by people who supported his journey from the beginning.
“Celebrated a huge milestone surrounded by the people who are part of the journey before heading off for my Europe/US tour,” he shared.
The private dinner attracted several high-profile guests, including Major League DJz member Bandile Mbere, fashion designer Laduma Ngxokolo and Relebohile Mofokeng, who is known to be close friends with Ciza.
However, it was the appearance of TK Nciza and Nhlanhla Mafu together that stole the spotlight online.
The former couple married in 2004 and spent 15 years together before announcing their separation in 2019. At the time, Nhlanhla explained that they had decided to part ways amicably while maintaining a strong bond for the sake of their family.
The pair share three sons — Nkululeko, popularly known as Ciza, Thamsanqa and Luvuyo. They also suffered a heartbreaking tragedy when their daughter, Zinathi, died in a car accident in 2009.
