A young pharmacist was shot and killed just days after opening her pharmacy in KwaNyuswa near Hillcrest, KwaZulu-Natal.
According to reports, Nomzila Madinane was attacked during a suspected armed robbery at her newly opened business. A cashier was also killed during the incident, while a security guard who tried to intervene was injured.
The killing has left the local community in shock, with many expressing sadness over the death of a young professional who had recently fulfilled her dream of opening a pharmacy.
Police have launched an investigation and are searching for those responsible.
