Musa Mseleku didn’t mince words in his recent critique of his wife, Thobile “MaKhumalo,” and her choice of attire during a family outing. The outspoken polygamist, known for his unwavering commitment to traditional values and the public presentation of his wives, expressed his displeasure, asserting that MaKhumalo’s outfit was not suitable.

This sparked a backlash from fans, who rallied to MaKhumalo’s defense, suggesting that Mseleku might have deeper issues with her than just her fashion choices.

Viewers of “Uthando Nes’thembu” are increasingly convinced that Mseleku has a particular bone to pick with his third wife, following his latest remarks about her clothing.

During the season finale of the popular reality show, he found himself at the center of a social media uproar after openly criticizing her outfit, deeming it too revealing for a married woman.

The Mseleku family was enjoying a leisurely day out, engaging in a private game of pool when Mseleku took to his diary session to voice his concerns about MaKhumalo’s attire. He contrasted her grey tracksuit with the more fashionable trench coat worn by his fourth wife, Mbali “MaNgwabe,” who was dressed appropriately for the chilly weather.

“MaNgwabe is well-covered, while MaKhumalo appears almost naked,” he remarked, claiming that her figure-hugging outfit conveyed the wrong message.

He insisted that as a wife in a polygamous household, she should prioritize modesty over style, lamenting that her choice was far too revealing compared to the more conservative looks of his other wives.

MaKhumalo, celebrated for her daring and chic fashion sense, has always embraced bold statements in her wardrobe. While she typically merges modern elegance with traditional elements, her latest outfit evidently did not resonate with her husband, despite her status as one of the family’s most fashionable members.

Mseleku concluded by warning that if he didn’t address MaKhumalo’s dress sense, it could inadvertently influence her sister wives, leading to a ripple effect in their household dynamics.
