Lekompo star Shandesh is reportedly navigating a tumultuous relationship crisis following shocking cheating allegations that have sent ripples across social media.
The drama ignited when a woman known as theselfmadebarb took to her platforms on April 14, 2026, to reveal a scandalous affair with Shandesh’s fiancée, Mimi Mogale. The accuser claims that Shandesh has been manipulating Mimi throughout their romance, even exerting control over her finances and wardrobe.
To add fuel to the fire, she alleged that the Sdudla Slender hitmaker has been secretly seeing men behind Mimi’s back, asserting that Shandesh is “not fully gay” and is merely dating Mimi for the sake of content creation and to enhance her public persona.
“They put on a show for the ‘brand,’ and I stayed silent,” theselfmadebarb stated. She further claimed that she frequently traveled between Sandton and Polokwane to pick up Mimi whenever she discovered Shandesh’s infidelities, often washing and ironing her clothes while providing emotional support during her heartbreak.
The mistress accused Mimi of using her for comfort, only to return to Shandesh after being lured back with lavish gifts. “What I despise is someone who treats me poorly when it suits them,” she lamented, revealing her affair with Mimi, who was leaning on her emotionally while Shandesh was unfaithful.
This revelation comes just as rumors swirl that the couple may have split, only months after hinting at an engagement. According to the former lover, although her fling with Mimi reportedly ended in 2025, she warned that she still has plenty more secrets to unveil.
She took a pointed jab at Mimi, advising her to remain in her “miserable relationship” and maintain the “charade,” cautioning her not to provoke her or risk further exposure.
As the scandal unfolded, social media erupted with reactions. Users expressed their shock and shared their thoughts on the situation. One commenter, Nkabiikazii, remarked, “Shandesh is cheating on Mimi with men. Mimi found solace in the arms of Legudzumelakazi.”
Milla__K criticized Mimi’s choice, saying, “Out of all the people she could have picked, she chose the Barb who craves drama and attention?” Meanwhile, tumelo_kganyago demanded, “We need all the receipts.” NdabeZinhle expressed sympathy for Mimi, stating, “This is sad; she seems like a good person.”
Luazzielulu humorously commented, “People’s relationships are inspiring me to stay single.” February_XV added, “That relationship was just a disaster.”
