MK Insider Claims Long Awaited Removal of Bongani Baloyi Has Arrived

Bongani Baloyi was removed from his position as the head of elections for the MK Party due to an intelligence report, patience, and a political fallout.

The removal of Bongani Baloyi from his position as Head of Elections in the uMkhonto weSizwe Party (MK Party) has sparked renewed debate within South Africa’s rapidly evolving political landscape. Claims have emerged that an intelligence report having a warning about his position had been circulating for several months prior to the decision being officially made.

A political activist and pundit by the name of Apostle Deza asserts that Mzwanele is the author of an intelligence report that was reportedly written on November 8th, 2025. The recommendation that was made by Manyi was that Baloyi should be removed from his significant role inside the election apparatus of the party. According to reports, the audit brought up concerns over the organization’s internal dynamics as well as conflicts regarding strategic positions.

In a remark that has since garnered a substantial amount of attention on social media and among political watchers, Deza stated that the new development validates the earlier warnings.

He stated, “On November 8, 2025, I was given an intelligence report that was written by my greatest of all time, the Honourable Mzwanele Manyi, indicating that Bongani Baloyi ought to be removed from his position.” The MK Party has, in fact, removed him from his position as Head of Elections as of today. We assured them that we are folks who are very patient. There will be a presence from us, and time will always vindicate Apostle Deza.

Despite the fact that the MK Party has not yet provided a comprehensive public explanation for the dismissal of Baloyi, many with knowledge of the situation have suggested that the decision is part of a larger restructure that is intended to boost the party’s organisational capabilities in preparation for the forthcoming elections. In its efforts to establish itself as a major political force, the party, which has experienced rapid growth since its formation under the political influence of former President Jacob Zuma, has been subjected to demands from both inside the party and from outside the party.

During the expansion phase of the MK Party, Baloyi, who had previously served as the mayor of Midvaal and was one of the more notable figures to join the party, was given the responsibility of monitoring crucial areas of the party’s general election strategy. Because of this, the party’s internal leadership structure has undergone a considerable transformation as a result of his retirement from the role.

The development, according to political analysts, brings to light ongoing tensions and power conflicts, which are situations that are not uncommon in political movements that are fast increasing.

“There are bound to be disagreements over strategy, leadership roles, and organisational direction whenever a party grows as quickly as the MK Party has,” said political expert Thabo Maseko. “This is because the MK Party has achieved such rapid growth.” Through the removal of a senior member such as Baloyi, the leadership is demonstrating that they are willing to make difficult decisions in order to cement their influence.

A number of concerns have been raised as a result of the controversy that has surrounded the intelligence report. These questions concern the manner in which information is disseminated within political circles, as well as the part that informal networks and political influencers play in crafting narratives concerning leadership changes.

Insiders within the MK Party have indicated that a new leadership structure for the elections could be announced within the next few weeks. That being said, the MK Party appears to be determined to continue forward for the time being. Within the context of preparing for future electoral fights, the party continues to place a primary emphasis on enhancing its campaign operations and expanding its support throughout all provinces.

It remains to be seen whether the dismissal of Baloyi will have an effect on the electoral chances of the MK Party or the internal unity of the party. The episode, on the other hand, highlights the high-stakes political manoeuvring that is taking on behind the scenes as the political landscape of South Africa continues to evolve.
