In a post on social media, a user claimed that 11 officials in Limpopo have collectively resigned from their positions and submitted their notices to Floyd Shivambu. The report suggests that these resignations occurred recently following the politician’s transition to a different political organisation. According to the social media user, this move indicates a significant loss of support for the leader in his home province, contradicting expectations of a large scale movement of members following his departure from his previous party.
The social media report alleges that while the politician may have anticipated a mass following to join his new political venture, the current trend suggests that members are instead distancing themselves from his leadership. The commenter described the situation as a failed strategic move, suggesting that the intention behind the political shift has not yielded the desired results. This development has raised questions about the level of influence the leader still maintains over regional structures and his ability to consolidate power within his new political home.
According to the details shared online, the departure of these 11 officials is viewed by some observers as a blow to the politician’s regional influence. The commenter suggested that the exodus of officials is happening away from the leader rather than alongside him, which may impact the organisational strength of his current political projects. This public reaction highlights the ongoing volatility in the political landscape as representatives navigate changing alliances and the consequences of high profile leadership shifts within various movements.
The body of the report further notes that the political climate remains tense as different factions within the province respond to these departures. While the identities and specific roles of the 11 officials were not detailed in the social media post, the claim has generated significant discussion regarding the stability of the politician’s support base. Analysts suggest that such collective resignations often signal deeper internal disagreements or a lack of confidence in the strategic direction chosen by the leadership during periods of political transition.
