Stellenbosch FC defender Thabo Moloisane has signed a pre-contract agreement with Kaizer Chiefs and will officially join the Soweto club in the winter transfer window.
The 24-year-old informed Stellenbosch management of his decision after contract renewal talks broke down. Moloisane joined Stellenbosch from Maritzburg United in 2023 and became a key part of their defense, helping the team win the Carling Black Label Cup last season.
His form also earned him a Bafana Bafana debut in the 2024 COSAFA Cup. Chiefs view Moloisane as a long-term addition who will bring pace, composure, and defensive stability to their squad.
Stellenbosch thanked Moloisane for his service, while Chiefs supporters hope his signing signals the club’s ambition to compete at the highest level again.
