Umzinto police have opened a murder investigation after the body of a 32-year-old man was discovered in the Magwaza area of Malangeni.
The victim, identified as Bongani Thokozani Mathumbu, had been reported missing to the Umzinto police on July 26th. Preliminary investigations indicate he was stabbed.
He was last seen in Sezela after leaving his home in Malangeni. His body was found by sugarcane field workers.
No arrests have been made, and police are continuing their investigation.
