A senior government minister faces mounting pressure as South Africans circulate old footage allegedly exposing his controversial past lifestyle. The viral clip, spreading rapidly on social media, has reignited debates about leadership integrity in Mzansi.

The undated video appears to show the minister in compromising circumstances before taking office. While some defend people’s capacity for change, others argue such history disqualifies him from high office. “We can’t be governed by oguluva [womanizers] – this explains our country’s decline,” one social media user posted, capturing widespread frustration.

Political analysts note the timing compounds existing public distrust in government. “Voters are increasingly rejecting leaders with questionable pasts,” observed one commentator. The ruling party faces fresh scrutiny over its candidate selection process amid growing demands for clean governance.

As the minister maintains silence, the court of public opinion remains divided – between those calling it unfair character assassination and others demanding accountability. The controversy highlights South Africans’ dwindling patience with leaders whose personal conduct contradicts their public roles.
