Jacob Zuma, South Africa’s former president (2009–2018), is a traditional Zulu polygamist and father to 23 children from multiple relationships. His family is often divided into two groups: the older, more established children and the younger, less publicly known ones.
The Older Zuma Children
Most of Zuma’s older children come from his earlier marriages, including those with Kate Mantsho and ex-wife Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma. Here are some of the most notable:

Gugu Zuma – An artist and entrepreneur, Gugu graduated from AFDA Cape Town and stays out of political matters.
Thuli Zuma – A government employee with a background in economics, Thuli also acts in a sitcom created by her sister.
Thuthukile Zuma – Worked in government communications before moving to the telecommunications sector.
Phumzile Zuma – Linked to Scientology, she once spoke at a Scientology event.
Vusi Zuma – The youngest of Kate’s children, Vusi passed away in 2018 after battling lupus.
The Younger Zuma Children
Zuma’s younger children, mostly from his marriage to Nompumelelo Ntuli (2008), are shielded from media attention. Some of their names include Thandisiwe, Manqoba, and Sinqobile.
