A video shared by MDN News has brought forward serious allegations against Dr. Khehlelezi, with a woman claiming he raped her during a visit to his Johannesburg home. The footage, released on 9 April 2025, shows the woman describing her experience, explaining how what began as a professional arrangement turned into a traumatic ordeal. She says she was invited to his home under the pretence of designing an e-commerce website, only to be allegedly assaulted. Her firm belief that “justice will prevail and he will see that he’s not God” highlights her determination to hold him accountable, sparking widespread discussion in South Africa.

The woman recounts first assisting Dr. Khehlelezi after he claimed his Instagram account was hacked, a request he posted on Hustler’s Corner. Their communication led to a job offer, with him arranging her travel to Johannesburg from an undisclosed location. Upon arrival, she found no work equipment, and the situation allegedly worsened when Khehlelezi returned home, undressed, and made unwanted advances. She describes feeling trapped, unable to resist due to her isolation and his alleged possession of a firearm, though she says it was not used against her. Her account suggests coercion, and she has since pursued legal action despite his reported online mockery of her case.

Dr. Khehlelezi, known in certain circles for his media presence, has not publicly addressed these allegations, leaving the situation unresolved pending an official investigation. Under South Africa’s Criminal Law (Sexual Offences and Related Matters) Amendment Act, rape is defined as any non-consensual sexual act, and if proven, this case could have serious legal consequences. The woman’s mention of a police case indicates formal steps may have been taken, though authorities have not confirmed this. Reactions on social media vary, with some expressing shock and support, while others question inconsistencies in her story.

Her closing statement—“justice will prevail and he will see that he’s not God”—carries significant weight, reflecting defiance against perceived impunity. This resonates in a country where gender-based violence remains a critical issue. If true, the incident represents a severe breach of trust, unjustifiable under any professional pretext. However, fairness requires awaiting evidence—her account is compelling, but justice relies on facts rather than emotion. Her decision to speak out, despite potential backlash, is courageous and may encourage others to come forward.

The outcome of this case could have broader implications. A conviction might strengthen trust in the legal system’s ability to hold powerful figures accountable, while a dismissal could discourage other survivors from reporting. For now, her pursuit of justice stands as both a personal fight and a societal challenge, calling for greater accountability in power dynamics.
