Former Muvhango actress Simphiwe “Simz” Ngema has opened up about her private life, addressing misconceptions and rumors that have followed her throughout her career. Known for her role on the popular South African drama, Simz has grown into one of the most-followed media personalities, frequently making headlines for her personal and professional life.

In a candid interview on Mommy Diaries with Mapaseka Koetle, Simz revealed her unbothered stance on social media criticism. “They don’t buy me bread,” she said, confidently dismissing the negativity she faces online. Despite being a target for trolls, she has chosen to focus on her family and career.

Simz recently welcomed her second child with Zimbabwean model Tino Chinyani. She shared that her followers only know what she chooses to reveal, saying, “You only know parts about me that I’ve allowed you to see. You don’t know who Simphiwe Ngema is.”

Addressing Misconceptions

Simz also tackled rumors about her love life, rejecting claims linking her to blessers and sugar daddies. “People think, ‘Oh, because she’s a pretty face, she must be the blesser kind of girl,’ but I don’t like clubbing, and I’m not into sugar daddies,” she clarified.

She expressed frustration with the media’s tendency to shape false perceptions of celebrities, but she also acknowledged the love and support she receives from her fans. “At my worst, when the media tore me apart, there was never a time when I felt unsupported—it’s always been love,” she said.

Love and Headlines

Simz has often made news for her relationship with Tino Chinyani. Last year, she sparked engagement rumors by sharing photos from her 34th birthday celebration, including a shot of her engagement ring.

The couple has faced their share of public scrutiny, including alleged cheating scandals and a brief fallout that saw them unfollow each other on social media. However, they eventually reconciled, proving their resilience as a couple.

Through all the challenges and rumors, Simz Ngema remains a symbol of strength and self-determination. By focusing on her family, career, and self-worth, she continues to rise above the noise, inspiring her fans to do the same.
