Limpopo Premier Dr. Phophi Ramathuba took to social media to honor South Africa’s First Lady, celebrating her remarkable contributions to public service and healthcare. Dr. Ramathuba highlighted the First Lady’s impressive qualifications and unwavering commitment to improving maternal and child health services across the country.

Describing her as “the people’s doctor,” Dr. Ramathuba lauded the First Lady’s academic and professional accomplishments. “A physician passionate about mother and child health services, a public health specialist, an MBCHB graduate from UKZN, and a holder of a Master’s degree in Public Health from Harvard, amongst her many qualifications,” she wrote. “Continue to inspire us even at your age, mama.”

Dr. Ramathuba commended the First Lady’s dedication to uplifting the health and well-being of South Africans, emphasizing her pivotal role in promoting public health initiatives.
