Outgoing Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema is set to present the party’s political report during the third National People’s Assembly, taking place at the Nasrec Expo Centre in Johannesburg from Friday, 13 December, to Sunday, 15 December.

The assembly, which serves as an elective conference, will see over 2,500 delegates convene to elect new leadership and deliberate on key party policies. The event will also review the EFF’s performance over the last five years under Malema’s leadership.

Outgoing EFF Secretary-General Marshall Dlamini announced that Malema would oversee the official program, including the presentation and adoption of party credentials. These credentials will confirm the assembly’s legitimacy and adherence to party guidelines and constitutional requirements.

“Following the President’s opening address, we will present and adopt the rules, guidelines, and procedures for the People’s Assembly,” Dlamini stated. “This process will set the tone for the assembly and establish its strategic priorities.”

The assembly is expected to shape the EFF’s direction ahead of the upcoming elections, with a focus on both leadership changes and policy strategies for the future.
