The Grade 2 student was recently celebrated by his school for earning a remarkable 27 medals at the South African Championships of Performing Arts held last September.
Desmond won five gold, six silver, and four bronze medals individually, while also securing four gold, four silver, and four bronze medals in group performances. His achievements earned him a spot on Team South Africa, where he will compete at the World Championships of Performing Arts in Los Angeles in 2025.
