Four individuals, including two Mexican nationals, were arrested in connection with a R2 billion drug bust in Groblersdal, Limpopo.
The suspects, identified as Gonzales Jorge (51), Gutierrez Lopes (43), Frederick Botha (67), and Simphiwe Khumalo (35), appeared in the Groblersdal District Court.
The arrests followed the discovery of a clandestine drug laboratory on a farm.
Additionally, a fifth suspect was later apprehended in relation to the case.
The operation involved a joint effort by the Limpopo Hawks and Limpopo SAPS, marking a significant victory in the fight against drug trafficking in South Africa.
