Initial reports suggest other suspects are wounded, but teams are also searching for others who may have fled. Rifles, ammunition and money have been recovered. Details will be updated when the operation is complete.
Police are searching for two suspects – possibly wounded – in the vicinity. Besides the first two shot dead, another wounded suspect was also arrested. The gang was linked to a CIT robbery in Kranskop yesterday afternoon. Tracking teams found them within hours. KZN commissioner Gen Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi says his officers remain on high alert.
