Police are investigating a case of robbery following a cash in transit heist at Hlahatsi section, in Katlehong. At around 9am this morning a cash solutions vehicle was bombed by a group of men and got away with undisclosed amount of cash.
The incident took place at Hlahatsi section just next to Sasol garage as the vehicle was exiting the shopping center. Residents said they heard a loud booming sound twice and that’s when they realised something was wrong. Fortunately the security officers of the cash solutions vehicle were not harmed.
