Sphamandla Mabonga, the boyfriend of former Real Housewives of Durban star and singer Londie London, is currently receiving treatment at Mediclinic Morningside after a terrifying shootout at Tempo nightclub in Sandton, Johannesburg.

The incident unfolded on Friday night, leaving Mabonga injured and causing chaos among the club’s patrons.

According to witnesses, Mabonga was involved in a heated argument with another individual inside the packed nightclub. The disagreement quickly escalated, leading to a series of gunshots being fired.

Videos circulating on social media capture the chaotic scene, with partygoers initially enjoying the night’s festivities before the sudden eruption of violence.

As the gunshots rang out, panic ensued, and patrons scattered in all directions, seeking shelter under tables and fleeing for safety.

The disturbing footage serves as a reminder of the dangers that can lurk in unexpected places, even during seemingly joyous occasions.

Mabonga’s injuries, specifically a gunshot wound to the ribs, prompted his admission at Mediclinic Morningside.

While the exact details of the altercation remain unclear, sources suggest that the argument between Mabonga and the other individual escalated rapidly, resulting in both parties resorting to gunfire.

Another source claims that Mabonga is currently being watched by police at the hospital after the club filed a complaint against him.

“I heard that he was arrested after he was admitted so the police are watching him. I got a call because I have opened a case against him. [Police] called me to come and identify the suspect so he can be arrested for my matter,” the source added.
