Is the ANC’s top 7 discussing possible actions against Zuma?

It is widely believed that former president Jacob Zuma had foreseen the current situation and was aware even before the announcement of his new party.

This suggests that he had been planning his next move and strategising on how to strengthen the MK Party on the ground.

It is unlikely that the ANC would take any actions that would catch him off guard, considering his political experience and influence within the party.

News has emerged that the ANC’s top seven and its national working committee have been discussing potential actions against Zuma.

This indicates that the ruling party acknowledges the power of the people to remove them from power and recognises the need to address the growing support for Zuma’s new party.

The timing of these discussions seems opportune, as Zuma’s statement of intending to remain an ANC member but not voting for the organisation goes against many party rules.

The ANC’s only remaining option may be to expel Zuma from the party. However, this decision is challenging because it aligns with Zuma’s desires. If he is expelled, he doesn’t lose anything since he wasn’t planning to vote for the ANC anyway.

This puts the ANC leadership in a difficult position, as they understand that the longer they delay taking action, the more people perceive Zuma as the only leader whom the ANC cannot take disciplinary action against.

Zuma seems to have the ANC leadership exactly where he wants them, and he is capitalising on this by continuing to gain momentum for the MK Party.

The MK Party has seen a significant increase in registered members, surpassing the 4 million mark.

These impressive figures are shared with the public, indicating that the ANC is aware of the growing support for Zuma’s new party.

This further adds to the pressure on the ANC leadership to address the situation and take decisive action.

It is widely believed that Jacob Zuma had anticipated the current situation and is strategically working to strengthen the MK Party.

The ANC’s discussions on potential actions against Zuma indicate their acknowledgment of the power of the people and the need to address the growing support for his new party.

The decision to potentially expel Zuma from the ANC is challenging, as it aligns with his desires and may not have the desired impact.

Meanwhile, the MK Party continues to gain momentum, with a significant increase in registered members. The ANC is aware of these developments and is likely feeling the pressure to take decisive action.
