University of Venda student Nemangwele Mutshidzi Phophi Innocentia, 23, passed away suddenly, according to a sombre notice from the Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Education Representative Council. Today, December 8th, 2023, was the earlier date of the tragedy.

Bachelor of Arts in International Relations Studies (HSBAIR) student Nemangwele was an ambitious and hardworking person. She was nearing the end of her time at university, in her final year.

The university community has been deeply affected by the news of her demise, and condolences have been sent from staff, classmates, and friends. Her tragic death remains shrouded in mystery as the specific reason why she passed away has not been revealed.

Condolences are conveyed to Nemangwele’s family, friends, students, and anybody lucky enough to have been close to her in a statement released by the Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Education Representative Council. The professors stood together, saying, “You’re in our thoughts during this difficult time.”

Funeral plans for Nemangwele are still in the works as the university community mourns his passing. As soon as the family notifies the institution, the faculty will swiftly provide facts concerning the funeral proceedings.

Nemangwele Mutshidzi Phophi Innocentia’s death is a sobering reminder of how short life is and how important it is to support one another when we’re grieving. Those impacted by the tragic loss of a bright student have the support of the university community, which is in mourning.

The University of Venda is calling on all students to stand together in these difficult times and provide emotional support to one another as they deal with the loss of a fellow student. The university community is coming together to honour Nemangwele’s legacy, and her memory will surely remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
