Cape Town City secured a slender victory over Golden Arrows, propelling them to the top of the PSL log table. The Citizens’ triumph, marked by an early own goal by Theron in the 8th minute, has positioned them as the current leaders with a total of 25 points collected from 13 games played this season.

The victory sees Cape Town City overtaking Mamelodi Sundowns, who now settle for the second position with five games in hand.

The clash against Golden Arrows proved pivotal for Cape Town City’s aspirations to lead the Premier Soccer League (PSL).
