Kaizer Chiefs legend Itumeleng Khune has reportedly landed himself in hot-water at the club.
The veteran goalkeeper allegedly arrived at training under the influence of alcohol!
While the club are yet to provide any details on the reported incident, reputable local publication FarPost who broke the story, have claimed Khune is set to be suspended and stripped of his leadership role.
The iconic Bafana Bafana goalkeeper has made five appearances for the club so far this season.

“Long-serving Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune is reportedly in hot water and faces suspension and demotion for alleged misconduct, FARPost can exclusively reveal.” a report read.
“Khune was recently caught arriving for training allegedly under the influence of alcohol. The club has taken a strong stance against the incident and is reportedly taking steps to suspend and demote him.”
“The club’s management met the former Bafana Bafana goalie and expressed its “extreme disappointment” with his behaviour. They made it clear that his actions were ‘unacceptable’ and that he would face ‘severe disciplinary action’.”

“I think it was a build up of emotions from him and looking at the two goals scored by Galaxy and how he was involved. When the incident happened, it was building up to it. We are all human and things like that do happen, I am not angry.”
