Ukhozi FM presenter Irvin “DJ Amen” Sihlophe will be laid to rest at his home in Harding, Kwazulu Natal on Sunday, 19 November.

Harding Stadium is where the funeral service will be held. Ukhozi FM presenters and many others are expected to attend the funeral service.

Irvin Sihlophe memorial service will be held in Durban on 15 November, location will be confirmed.

Dj Amen worked for Ukhozi FM for about 20 years and hosted different programmes such as religious programme and sports show. Irvin died at hospital on 9 November.

His death comes after he was hospitalised for a week at Addington Hospital in Durban, Kwazulu Natal after suffering stroke at his home.

Family spokesperson Lucky Nkosi told media that the family has decided that the he will be buried on Sunday which is 19 November.

“His memorial service is being organised by Ukhozi FM and is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 15 November but the venue is yet to be confirmed”, Nkosi said.
